Indie Hipster spitzt eure Ohren! Rough Trade mag es! Wir mögen es! Und ihr hoffentlich auch. Das englische Label bürgt ja bekanntlich nicht zuletzt auch wegen Belle & Sebastian für Qualität im Sunshinepop der Neuzeit. Pressebilder mit zahlreichen Luftballons, Regenschirmen und vielen anderen geliebten Elementen für eine fetzige Indiepop Band lassen bereits beim ersten Hinsehen GUTES vermuten. Wenn zusätzlich zur Optik auch noch wunderbare Texte mit blumigen und eingängigen Melodien kombiniert werden, stellt sich die Frage, was will Indie-Fan mehr? Dies alles trifft auf The School, eine Indie Popband aus Wales, zweifelsohne zu. Für Fans von Camera Obscura, Belle & Sebastian und klassischen 60's Girl Groups führt kein Weg daran vorbei, auch mal bei The School reinzuhören.
